The war has claimed yet another young life, an athlete, and a champion of Ukraine in MMA. Nazarii Havrylets from the Kalush community in Ivano-Frankivsk region died in the Kursk region of Russia while carrying out a special mission. He served as a senior operator in a special forces unit.
Nazarii enlisted to fight against the invaders at a very young age, only 18 years old. On September 12, 2024, Senior Soldier Havrylets did not return from battle. He was just a month and a half short of turning 22.
