In the battles of Donbas, the Master of Sports of Ukraine in rowing, Oleksandr Dykyi, was killed.
At 42 years old, Dykyi was a multiple-time champion of Ukraine. In the Junior World Championship for athletes under 19 in Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Dykyi, as part of the Ukrainian team, took fourth place.
It is known that Dykyi was in the Bakhmut sector.
