Mykola Tymoshenko

Ukrainian mountaineer Mykola Tymoshenko was killed in the war against Russian occupiers.

His mother, Alla Tymoshenko, shared that Mykola passed away in mid-March 2022, though the exact date of his death remains unknown.

He was an officer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a graduate of the Military Academy in Odessa, where he studied at the Faculty of Intelligence and Special Forces. From his high school years, he dreamed of a military career. During his studies, he developed a passion for mountaineering and rock climbing. By his third year, in 2020, he earned the title “Mountaineer of Ukraine.”

Ahead of him were competitions, cups, and tournaments, but Russian forces took the life of this young officer.
