He worked as a powerlifting coach at a sports club, training athletes at the “Stimul” sports club in Mariupol.
Since 2021, he had been a demining specialist with the Swiss Demining Foundation (FSD), based in Geneva.
The civilian sapper was killed on March 14 at 2:40 PM as a result of a Russian missile strike on his home. He was 41 years old.
He had dedicated his life to clearing the region of explosive objects.
Arthur Konovka is survived by his wife and young son.
