In the battles for Ukraine, 21-year-old soldier Vladyslav Shein from Dnipro was killed.
Vladyslav was studying in his fourth year at the Faculty of Law at the National University of Law. In Dnipro, he was known as a talented judoka, practicing the sport since he was six years old. He repeatedly won medals at Dnipropetrovsk regional championships and national tournaments.
He volunteered to serve on the front line, joining the 233rd Separate Territorial Defense Battalion. Together with his comrades, he liberated Balakliya, Shevchenkove, and Kupiansk.
Vladyslav was killed near the city of Svatove in Luhansk region while carrying out a combat mission. Ukrainian fighters were holding the flank when the occupiers launched an offensive, breaking through the defensive line. Taking the fire upon himself, Vladyslav saved the lives of four comrades.
For three days, Vladyslav Shein’s body could not be evacuated due to intense shelling… He was buried at the Glory Alley in Dnipro.
