In the battles for Ukraine, the heart of football referee Bohdan Didukh stopped forever.
From childhood, he was passionate about football. Despite obtaining a higher education at the Institute of Energy and Control Systems at the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” and working at the regional branch of “Lviv Railway,” he always found time for his favorite sport. Before the war, Bohdan served as the head referee of the Football Federation of Kamianets-Podilskyi, officiating matches in football and futsal championships.
After the full-scale invasion began, he became an active volunteer and later joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 36th Separate Marine Brigade. On June 13, 2023, during a combat mission in Zaporizhzhia region, 33-year-old Bohdan Didukh was killed…
He left behind a loving wife and a young daughter.
In July 2023, a mini-football tournament was held in Lviv in memory of football referee Bohdan Didukh.
