Ukrainian rugby player Ihor Vlasiuk was killed in action while defending his homeland from the invaders.
A courageous warrior, he joined the ranks at the very outset of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Ihor served as a sergeant and commander of an artillery crew.
In peacetime, he distinguished himself as a skilled athlete, proudly representing the Lviv rugby club “Batyary.”
His life was cut short on April 17, 2025, during a combat mission near the village of Shypuvate in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region.
He is mourned by his parents and sister.
Eternal glory to the Hero.
