Mykyta Kozubenko

Mykyta Kozubenko — a Ukrainian Master of Sport in diving, coach, and fighter of the National Guard — was killed in action defending Ukraine from Russian invaders. He was 31.

Originally from Mykolaiv, Mykyta entered the world of sports at a young age and remained dedicated to it for many years. He earned the title of Master of Sport of Ukraine and, since 2017, worked as a diving coach, holding the second coaching category. In 2018, he graduated from the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University. This was his true calling — study, sport, training, and nurturing the next generation.

In the darkest time for his country, Mykyta took up arms to defend his homeland. He served in the National Guard of Ukraine. He died on the front line.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire sports community. Eternal memory to the Hero.
