Football coach Oleksandr Shyshkov was killed as a result of a Russian missile attack on the village of Sergiivka, Odesa region.
Oleksandr was the president of “Atletik” children’s football club, headed the Odesa Beach Football Association, and previously played in the National Beach Football Team of Ukraine.
In 2010, the coach sold his one-room apartment in Odesa and invested all the money in the purchase of artificial turf for the field for a new football club.
The man was 42 years old. At the time of the attack, Oleksandr was on the territory of the children’s sports base together with other coaches.
Died on July 1, 2022.
