Ihor Tyshchenko was killed during a shelling by Russian troops near Pokrovske village, Donetsk region.
In 2019, the young man graduated from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. He signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2021. Before this period, Ihor worked at the Glukhiv boarding lyceum with enhanced military and physical training. He taught “Defense of Ukraine” there, was an officer-educator and led a martial arts group.
In addition, the hero was an instructor of a separate unit of the All-Ukrainian Federation of Military Sports All-Around in Sumy region; Candidate for Master of Sports of Ukraine in military-sports all-around, member of the national team of Ukraine, multiple prizewinner and winner of championships and cups of Ukraine, coach-instructor in military-sports all-around.
