Andrii Dziuban

On April 20, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission in the Sudzha district of Russia’s Kursk region, Andrii Dziuban — a warrior, athlete, coach, and true Knight of spirit and honor — was killed in action. He was 41 years old.

Andrii was born in 1983 in the village of Kamiani Potoky, in the Poltava region of Ukraine. From an early age, he stood out for his unbreakable will and thirst for victory. His life was woven from two powerful threads: a deep love for sports and unwavering devotion to Ukraine.

After graduating from the Mykhailo Novokhatko Kamiani Potoky Secondary School, Andrii trained as an electromechanic in Kremenchuk and worked as an electrician at the Kremenchuk Steel Plant. Later, he earned a higher degree in physical rehabilitation from the International Scientific and Technical University named after Academician Yurii Bugai.

Yet Andrii’s heart always beat to the rhythm of martial arts. He achieved the title of Master of Sports in the national martial art of “Khorting,” and was a multiple champion and medalist in Muay Thai and kettlebell lifting tournaments. He was not only a champion himself but also inspired others to greatness: he led a martial arts section and founded the kung fu club “Unity.” Andrii was also a member of the Kremenchuk motorcycle club Ravens MC, where he was known by the nickname “Master.”

In 2024, Andrii joined the 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade. His combat call sign, “Biker,” became a symbol of will and fearlessness. He gave his life for the freedom of his native land, for our future, and for the liberty of his people.

A devoted son, father of two children, faithful husband, reliable colleague, kind friend, and a man of golden hands and a sincere heart — this is how he will be remembered. The khorting community will honor him as a tireless Angel of Sport, a man who dedicated his life to nurturing strength and the indomitability of the spirit.

On April 28, 2025, his home village of Kamiani Potoky bowed its head in mourning, bidding farewell to its Hero.

Honor and glory to the Hero! Forever in the ranks!
