Twelve-year-old Arina Shnabska was killed on September 14, 2022, in Kherson.
She was walking peacefully through the city with her family in the Tavriiskyi residential district when everything changed in an instant. Several explosions rang out. Russian occupiers opened fire, leaving innocent people no chance of survival. Arina, her mother Natalia, her father Mykola, and her sister Kseniia were killed.
Arina was a diligent student and passionate about sports, particularly taekwondo. In 2021, she placed among the medalists at the Ukrainian Junior Taekwondo Championship.
