The Russian occupiers executed Ukrainian kyokushinkai karate champion Dan Zvonyk.
25-year-old military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, champion of Ukraine in kyokushinkai karate, champion of the World Cup in HonKyokushin karate and champion of the European Cup (IKO Sosai).
Dan Zvonyk was captured at the “Azovstal” metallurgical complex.
It happened approximately on April 19 or 20. It was on April 20 that Russian propagandists posted a video with captured Ukrainians, including Dan. Then the occupiers promised the prisoners of war on camera that their lives would be preserved. However, the occupiers killed Dan Zvonyk within a few days. On April 30, his mother Hanna sent a photo of her son’s dead body from unknown persons from occupied Donetsk.
