A well-known children’s football coach from Lviv, Dmytro Fialka, was killed by an enemy bullet.
He studied at school № 61. At the age of fifteen, he moved to Israel. There he completed his studies and became a football coach. He served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), where he gained combat experience.
In 2015, he returned to Ukraine. He worked as a coach at FC «Lviv». He was a true professional in his field.
After the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, he voluntarily joined the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps “Right Sector”. He was involved in the selection of volunteers for the newly created battalion and was an instructor. Later he was promoted to platoon commander. According to his comrades, Dmytro Fialka “was a true commander and valued the lives of his men above all else.” Russian invaders took the life of a lovely son, husband and father of two children…
