Dmytro Piven, a football player of the «Dynamo» Children’s and Youth Sports School, was killed in the war with the Russian occupiers.
Since childhood, Dmytro dreamed of becoming a professional football player, joined the «Dynamo» Children’s and Youth Sports School, but he could not build a professional career.
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Dmytro joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He went through training camps, after which he went to the Donetsk region as part of a motorized infantry battalion. After receiving permission from the battalion commander, in early summer he visited Kyiv for a few days and married his beloved Olena. And the next day, after his new wife received a passport with a new surname, Dmytro died…
