Elchyn Muradov

Boxing judge Elchyn Muradov died defending Ukraine from Russian invaders.

He was born on October 18, 1980. Boxing was his true passion in life. In his peaceful pre-war life, he was an international judge and the chief judge of Kyiv. He constantly improved himself in this field and taught young judges.

After the full-scale Russian invasion began, Elchyn immediately decided to defend Ukraine. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, served in the military unit A7320 as a deputy commander of a fire support company. He was always faithful to his military oath and the people of Ukraine, bravely defending them in the hottest spots of the frontline. However, on December 19, 2023, while performing a combat operation near the village of Vyimka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, 43-year-old Elchyn Muradov was killed by enemy artillery fire…
