A few days before his birthday, Ivan Soltysik, a candidate for master of sports in boxing, was killed.
Before the full-scale Russian invasion, he served in the Judicial Protection Service in Ivano-Frankivsk region. He took part in various mixed martial arts competitions, became a multiple prize winner and champion, and held the title of candidate for master of sports of Ukraine in boxing.
After February 24, 2022, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was a soldier of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade “Edelweiss”. On November 15, 2023, he would have turned 26 years old. But, unfortunately, on November 7, Ivan Soltysik died defending Ukraine from Russian invaders…
