On the night of March 10, a Russian aerial bomb fell on the house where an 11-year-old gymnast lived. The athlete and her father died immediately. The mother and brother were taken to the hospital, which was later also destroyed by an airstrike. The whole family died.
“She had to conquer the scenes and give smiles to the world. What are the children guilty of?” – the girl’s coach wrote.
On the last day of the stage of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, which ended in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, on April 11, the organizers honored the memory of a young Ukrainian athlete.
