Footballer Oleh Mazur died in the war against the Russian aggressor.
Mazur was a graduate of Children’s and Youth Sports School Karpaty. In 2009, he won Volodymyr Varaksin tournament as a member of the Lions, scoring one of three goals in the final. He also managed to play for “Halychyna” (Lviv), “Zvenyhorod”, “Lapayivka” and “Rudno”.
Oleh Mazur was tragically died in a battle with saboteurs who tried to break through the border in Sumy region.
Hero was only 26 years old.
