Oleksandr Odintsov died in a battle in Luhansk region.
The 24-year-old athlete served in the 58th Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. Senior battery officer of the first mortar department.
Oleksandr was mortally wounded near the village of Bilohorovka, Luhansk region.
Odintsov was a master of sports with pankration, won “bronze” at the World Championships, was a winner of the European Championships. Back in December, he won a medal at the Ukrainian championship.
The hero was buried on the Walk of Fame in Sumy. The bride Anastasia also said goodbye to her lover, on June 4 the couple was going to get married.
