Oleksandr Pradun was killed by an enemy artillery attack in Luhansk region.
He was born on January 18, 1994, in the city of Novyi Buh, Mykolaiv region. During his school years, he was fond of football. He played for the school team. In 2011, he entered the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding in Mykolaiv, where he not only received a higher engineering education, but also graduated from the military department. During his studies, he joined the MMA Club Mykolaiv. Training took a lot of time, but brought results – Oleksandr began competing in various mixed martial arts competitions throughout Ukraine and winning prizes. However, injuries prevented him from continuing his sports career. On the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion, Oleksandr joined the territorial defense forces, and in April 2022, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a platoon commander of the 92nd Assault Brigade «Ivan Sirko». He took part in the liberation of Kharkiv region and repelled enemy attacks in Luhansk region. He was not afraid of military service, on the contrary – after the victory he wanted to stay in the service and build a military career.
