Oleksandr Sheremetа, the coach of the national team of schoolchildren of Ukraine, the Irpin Children and Youth’s School in orienteering, died in Irpin.
He was the first master of sports of Ukraine in orienteering in Irpin and nearest villages. He was the first native of Irpin who started working as an orienteering coach, he was the youngest coach of the national team of Ukrainian schoolchildren in orienteering. He was fond of traveling, helped many people in organizing and holding competitions of various levels.
At the beginning of the war, Oleksandr took his family to a safe place and returned. It was necessary to take care of my father and help friends who could not leave Irpin. On March 25, the Rashists captured Oleksandr Sheremeta. Since then, contact has been lost. On March 31, Oleksandr’s body was brought to the morgue in Boyarka. Oleksandr has five bullet holes on his chest. His wife and three children survived the deceased.
