Boxing judge Oleksii Kupyriev died in blocked Mariupol.
Oleksii and his family hid in the basement of a high-rise building during the shelling by the Russian occupiers. When the man went up to his apartment to get some things, an enemy shell flew straight into the apartment. As a result, Oleksii died.
Oleksii Kupyriev was the European champion in youth boxing, a judge of the international category.
