21 year old football player Petro Havryliv was killed in the battle against the Russian invaders.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the young football player started volunteering and then went to defend Ukraine from the occupiers as a member of the «Revenge» volunteer battalion.
Petro Havryliv, with the call sign “Polo,” was killed on July 2 while combat duty. He sustained mortal injuries. A week later, on July 9, he would have turned 22.
The Hero was a student of FC «Lviv», played for the teams «Niva-Cordia», «Dynamo-Sokil» and «Kamula». He was in his fifth year of geodesy at Lviv Polytechnic.
