A soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Roman Minakov, a Master of Sports of Ukraine in rowing, was killed in Donbas.
He was a graduate of the Vilyansk Youth Sports School and the Zaporizhzhia Higher School of Physical Education. A multiple-time champion of Ukraine and a participant in the World Rowing Championships, Roman answered the call to defend our nation from the very first days of the war. He fought as part of an airborne assault brigade.
On November 8, Roman Minakov fell. He was 29 years old. His wife and daughter did not live to see his return.
