Roman Skrypniuk

Roman Skrypniuk was born on October 8, 1992, in the village of Molodizhne (5 km from Chornomorsk). He was a product of the local football club “Bastion,” which participated in the Second League of Ukraine.

In his youth, he competed in the championships of Odesa region and Ukraine. After his military service, he returned home and played for local clubs. He participated in the championships of Chornomorsk and Odesa, regional tournaments, and district competitions.

He played for several clubs, including regional competitions with FC “Chornomorsk” and FC “Zatoka” (Bilhorod-Dnistrovskii). In district competitions, he represented FC “Trofymevets” (Molodizhne), FC “Inter” (Mala Dolyna), and FC “Luxor” (Baraboy).

From the first day of the war, he volunteered to defend his country. He died while protecting Ukraine near Bakhmut. Roman is survived by his wife and two children.
