“Mom, I just want to live”. They were the last words of 17-year-old Romana Myasoedova, who was ruthlessly shot into the back by the Russian occupiers.
She was born on July 30, 2004 in Mariupol. She was a student of the 11th grade of a local school, played volleyball and was very successful. Everyone who knew Romana remembers her as a very cheerful person, whose best feature was her ability to forgive everyone.
After the full-scale invasion began, Mariupol became a witness the crimes of the Russian occupiers. On the coast of the Azov Sea, the invaders killed tens of thousands of people, including, unfortunately, Romana. On March 16, 2022, she was shot into the back by Russians when she was going down the stairs near the «Chaika» cafe in the Livoberezhny district of the city. “Mom, I just want to live”, the last words she said…
