In the battles against Russian occupiers in Donetsk region, Stanislav Makayda lost his life.
Stanislav was a soldier in the airborne assault platoon of the 4th Airborne Assault Company, 2nd Airborne Assault Battalion, military unit A0224.
He had been passionate about sports since childhood, with volleyball being his greatest love. For Stas, volleyball was more than just a game; it was his entire life. He played for several teams in district, regional, and national competitions.
Stanislav Makayda was killed on February 24, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near Bakhmut. He was only 23 years old.
