Vitalii Morozov

Vitalii Morozov died in the battle for Kyiv defense.

He comes from the city of Andrushivka, Zhytomyr region. He was born in 1989. Conscripted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2010, he began his military service as a conscript soldier in the training battalion of the Military Intelligence Service. Within a year, he joined and continued his service as a cadet.

In 2018, he returned to his Serhii Korolov Zhytomyr Military Institute as a course officer. In two years, he was promoted to the head of the training course. He had the experience of participating in the operation of the United Forces.

On March 7, the enemy shelled Captain Vitalii Morozov’s position with mortars. Fragments of the mine wounded the officer. Seeing that he was wounded, subordinates rushed to save him, but a second enemy mine ended the lives of Captain Morozov and his two subordinates.

Vitalii Morozov won state and international competitions in kettlebell sports, and earned the status of master of sports of Ukraine.
