Junior Lieutenant Volodymyr Ulyanytskyi, a platoon commander, was killed in Donetsk while defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The 27-year-old soldier died during a tank shelling.
Volodymyr was a swimming coach at the “Zorya” Sports Club and a medalist in the Mykolaiv Regional Swimming Championships. He represented the Mykolaiv region in national competitions.
