Yevhen Perepelytsia

On May 17, 24-year-old Yevhen Perepelytsia, a future drift pilot, was killed during a rocket attack on the training center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Desna.

He was a graduate of Philology and Journalism Department of Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University. The young man was a member of several car clubs in Poltava, voiced the Ukrainian drift championships, and after moving to Kyiv he worked for BroDrift as a dealer. According to his friend Stanislav’s words, he aspired to become famous, stand out from many other motorists, interest sponsors and become a member of the team of drifter pilots from BroDrift. For this purpose, he even created his own blog and often shot thematic videos.

In April, Yevhen enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent military training in Desna Training Center. On May 17, the occupiers fired on a military unit. At about 5 a.m., the enemy fired four missiles, two of which hit the building. On May 24, the mother of the military, Ksenia Perepelytsia, posted a message on her Instagram stating that the boy did not get in touch with his family. Eugene’s close friends later confirmed that he had died.
