Yuriy Ivanovych, a 24-year-old boxer from Chernivtsi, gave his life for Ukraine’s independence. He had been serving on the frontlines since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Yuriy served in military unit 3174. Before enlisting, he studied at Chernivtsi Gymnasium No. 4 and later at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, majoring in physical education.
He was a candidate for the title of Master of Sports in boxing.
