The Russian occupiers left four children without a father, taking the life of 44-year-old Mykhailo Lykholot.
He was born on 20 April 1978. His greatest passion in life was off-road vehicles and off-road racing. He restored cars and even created an all-terrain amphibious vehicle on large wheels with his own hands, which called the “All-Terrain Vehicle Lykholot”. He was a member of the Kharkiv off-road club “SLIVA-Club 4×4”, which he represented in the competition.
From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Mykhailo became a volunteer. He delivered humanitarian aid to the settlements near occupied villages of Kharkiv region and evacuated people from there, risking his own life. Later, he voluntarily joined the 247th separate battalion of the 127th separate brigade of the Kharkiv territorial defence forces. His comrades recall that Mykhailo always had time to help the battalion. He repaired vehicles, constantly went on operations because he was well oriented on the terrain. However, unfortunately, on September 12, 2022, during the liberation of Kharkiv region in the village of Ruski Tishky, 44-year-old Mykhailo Lykholot was killed…
He was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” for his personal courage and bravery in the defence of Ukraine. At home, his beloved wife and four children were waiting for him…
