Oleh Hramа hails from the village of Novoselytsia in the Khmelnytskyi region. He is a graduate of the sambo department at the Kyiv Youth Sports School No. 1 and a Master of Sport in combat sambo.
After graduating from the National Transport University in 2013, he took the oath and served in various units of the National Guard of Ukraine, including the Special Operations Detachment “Omega.” From 2014 to 2022, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation and the Joint Forces Operation of Ukraine.
During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he stood guard at Kyiv’s airport and helped liberate Irpin and Bucha. Later, he conducted reconnaissance and assault operations in the Izium direction and defended the city of Severodonetsk. Since August, he was redeployed to the Avdiivka front.
On February 18, 2023, near the settlement of Novobakhmutivka, he advanced to assist the 110th Brigade, where the enemy was attempting to launch an offensive. Closing in on the enemy, he successfully destroyed an enemy BMP with a targeted shot from a Javelin anti-tank missile system. According to the recollections of his comrades, Oleh, engaging in close combat with Russian infantry, did everything possible to halt their advance. Upon hearing the rumble of a tank, he, along with his assistant, began to search for the location of the enemy vehicle to destroy it. However, a tank shell exploded near their position, claiming the life of this brave warrior.
