Serhii Radchenko was a Master of Sports in diving. After concluding his athletic career, he devoted himself to working with children, serving as a physical education teacher at Municipal School No. 63 in Mariupol. He loved his profession and strove to give his students the very best—passing on his athletic experience while instilling in them discipline, perseverance, and self-confidence.
Those close to him remember Serhii as an active, warm-hearted, and life-affirming person. He had a kind nature, knew how to offer support, find the right words, and always remained open to others.
Serhii Radchenko will forever remain 41. He was killed on March 16, 2022, in Mariupol, as Russian occupiers relentlessly shelled the city’s residential neighborhoods, where civilians were trying to find refuge.
His path was that of both an athlete and a teacher—a man who lived for his calling and gave himself to others.
