A soldier of the 122nd Separate Airborne Battalion, 81st Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He was born on September 13, 1983, in Termez, Uzbekistan. In 1993, his family moved to Chernivtsi, his father’s hometown.
During his school years, Stanislav became passionate about field hockey and continued playing even into adulthood. Demonstrating impressive results, he eventually earned the title of Master of Sports.
He was mobilized to defend Ukraine from the onslaught of terrorists in July 2015. By October, he was at the front lines, serving as a gunner on an armored personnel carrier. He died on July 13, 2016, near Avdiivka while carrying out a combat mission.
The day before his death, he spoke with his parents over the phone. He dreamed of getting married, having children, and seeing his parents spoil their grandchildren. “Once he said to me, ‘Don’t worry, Dad, I’ll ensure you and Mom have a happy old age…'” said his father, Yuriy, wiping away tears. “It never happened…”
