Viktor Kotelevets, a kettlebell lifter, was killed while saving his comrades under tank fire.
He was born on June 10 1994, in Poltava. Before the full-scale invasion, he actively engaged in kettlebell lifting – became a prize winner of national competitions and had a title of master of sports of Ukraine. On December 3 2022, Victor joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On February 6 2023, an enemy tank began shelling the positions of Ukrainian military. Viktor Kotelevets pulled out two wounded comrades, but did not have time to hide from another attack. He died heroically saving the lives of his comrades.
